I am an experienced psychodynamic counsellor and supervisor working in Hemel Hempstead, between the old and new town centres.

I trained for six years with the Herts and Beds Pastoral Foundation, a network centre of the Westminster Pastoral Foundation, qualifying with the Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling in 1998.  I worked for local charitable counselling services since 1993 and began in private practice in 2000.  In addition I work as a primary care counsellor for local GP surgeries so I have wide experience of open-ended and time-limited counselling.

I supervise counsellors, helping them to establish and develop their clinical practice.

I also worked for 15 years as a lecturer/trainer, teaching listening and counselling skills courses to adults from Introduction to Diploma level.

I am a senior accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am on the BACP Accredited Voluntary Register.

I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I hold public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
