I am an experienced psychodynamic counsellor working in Hemel Hempstead, between the old and new town centres. 

I trained for six years with the Herts and Beds Pastoral Foundation, a network centre of the Westminster Pastoral Foundation, qualifying with the Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling in 1998.  I have been working with a local charitable counselling service since 1993 and began in private practice in 2000.  In addition I work as a primary care counsellor in a GP surgery so I have experience of open-ended and time-limited counselling.

I am also a lecturer/trainer, teaching listening and counselling skills courses to adults.

I am an accredited member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I have public liability and professional indemnity insurance
